Horse Sense for Leaders: Building Trust-Based Relationships Features New York Times Best-Selling Author Monty Roberts
SOLVANG, CA. December 22, 2014 – The Corporate Learning Institute and Monty and Pat Roberts, Inc., are pleased to announce the release of a new book focusing on New York Times Best-Selling Author Monty Roberts’s concepts as they relate to leadership. “Whether you are leading others in your private life or at work, Roberts’s trust-based concepts can help you find a strong foothold in building more effective relationships,” stated Dr. Susan Cain, co-author.
The book is being co-authored by Monty Roberts’s daughter, Debbie Roberts-Loucks and Dr. Susan Cain. “The book focuses on the power of joining-up to form strong trust bonds in your life,” commented co-author Debbie Roberts-Loucks.
The book is full of anecdotal stories about Monty’s career as a world leader in promoting non-violence. It details his approach to building trust, repairing trust, and helping others overcome conflicts. The book also contains exclusive, never-before-published interviews with Roberts and custom shot photos by awarding-winning photographer Bob Viering.
“We thought it was important to write a book that would transfer Monty’s concepts from horses to humans. His concepts for building trust help people to understand how to enhance trust in their relationships. For example, we have included interviews with leaders from around the world in both business and the equine world. The leaders’ stories center on how Monty has impacted their lives,” concluded Dr. Cain.
This new leadership book will be available on Amazon in late January 2015. Readers can begin reading excerpts of the book on Monty Roberts’s Methods Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/montyrobertsworkshop) page beginning on Christmas Day 2014.
